Cri-Help, a rehab center in North Hollywood, sponsors bingo on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's freaking hardcore. $20 buy in for your first card, $10 for each card after; the money goes to the rehab center. I don't think we quite knew what we were getting into. People had huge setups with many colored dobers and good luck charms.
The hardest part about it was being quiet. The other players really got into the games and you had to whisper all night, or you would get shooshed in a fierce way.
Lorie won right off the bat and got over a hundred bucks! She pretty much rocked it!
I actually won $35, but only because the lady next to me pointed out I had a bingo. It honestly was awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone. Just be prepared to be in it for the long haul...6 hours of bingo!
